As so much is said and done
Its as clear as the setting sun
When my words don’t seem to capture all I feel inside you’ll never leave my heart

So I’ll put some time aside

This time I feel I’m on the last train home but the weight feels fine

As so much time has gone by

I sit here on the floor
these days are different than before
As memories fade I miss the older days but for me the change is fine

Now I’m back here in my hometown
Walking through the door of my family home
It feels the same nothing ever seems to change and I feel happy here

I move so fast these days
as more of life gets in the way
This city life makes me grow so tired but I’ll be good here for a while
